How long have you been CrossFitting? 9 Years

What is your favorite WOD/Exercise?  Anything with cleans and double unders

What is your least favorite WOD/Exercise?  Heavy squat workouts. My knees hate me when I go heavy.

What is your previous workout/athletic background? I've been involved in various sports all my life and was a regular gym rat in college.

What was your first experience at CrossFit Cayman like?  A humbling eye opener! My first workout was Cindy and I tapped out halfway. I couldn't understand how what looked like a simple workout had defeated me, especially one without any weights. It made me realize how unfit I was and that was my motivation to stay.

What results have you seen since CrossFitting?  Crossfit has made me stronger, faster and healthier (mentally and physically). I wish I had started 10 years earlier.

What do you do to get yourself through a tough workout (mental thoughts, tips and tricks, etc.)? I consistently try to catch the person ahead of me, and if by some miracle I end up leading the pack, then it means someone is behind me chasing me and I need to try to stay in front.  That keeps me going.

 What's your favorite aspect about working out at CrossFit Cayman? For me it's a combination of good coaching and atmosphere. I receive sound advice to keep improving without injuring myself.  The location is ideal and I get to exercise with some great people.

What advice do you have for someone thinking about joining CrossFit Cayman?  

Just try it!   Start slow, be patient and consistent.  Focus on diet and technique and you will see positive results.
