How long have you been CrossFitting? 1 year

What is your favorite WOD/Exercise? Anything with running or a WOD that I can compete with Cam (my husband) as he never lets me beat him at anything! 

What is your least favorite WOD/Exercise? Snatch or squat snatches 

What is your previous workout/athletic background? Trail running, mountain biking, hockey, swimming

 

What was your first experience at CrossFit Cayman like? Cam kept convincing me to join CrossFit. When I finally did, everyone was really friendly, down to earth, supportive and it was not as intimidating as I thought.

What results have you seen since CrossFitting? My running has improved drastically! I improved my last 21km time by 5 minutes last year after being at crossfit for 6 months. I feel stronger and generally fitter. 

What do you do to get yourself through a tough workout (mental thoughts, tips and tricks, etc.)? I would usually look at Cam and get motivation from him as he is always so self-motivated! The coaches are really great at encouraging and supporting us too. A small carbohydrate snack, before I workout, also helps me get through the tougher WODs.  


What's your favorite aspect about working out at CrossFit Cayman? The gym is always so clean and organised! I love the people, friendly coaches and diverse crossfit community.

 

What advice do you have for someone thinking about joining CrossFit Cayman? Crossfit has a place for everyone regardless of your age, fitness level and ability. Join and you’ll feel welcome, at home and successful in your workouts.
